Launched in 2004, the Overseas Property Professional (OPP) is the only trade magazine and web site for overseas property agents, developers and associated professionals such as IFAs, foreign exchange and mortgage brokers and lenders, overseas property lawyers, media owners and PR & marketing professionals actively involved in the international homes industry.
 
The OPP has its own weekly emailed news summary which you can start receiving by checking the appropriate box during registration on this site.
 
Drawing upon a wealth of experience in both media and property, the team behind the OPP combines specialist knowledge of consumer and trade media and marketing, multi-exhibitor event organization, media buying and online publishing.

The Overseas Property Professional (OPP) magazine is the only print publication dedicated to companies and individuals working in, or with an interest in, the overseas property industry.
OPP magazine is not a consumer magazine and so is not read by people who want to buy houses. It is a trade magazine and so addresses the issues that are important to you as an overseas property agent or developer, an international property lawyer, a property media owner, an overseas property mortgage provider or broker, an IFA, a foreign exchange broker or indeed anyone with an interest in selling their products and services in the UK overseas property market. Gail joined the OPP team as graphic designer in 2006 and became the art editor of the title after six months . Contributing across the wider group of companies, and responsible for designing the livery for the Richmond Green Group, Gail now manages the Group's studio. This studio is responsible for the production of OPP and the newly launching OPP Russia magazine as well as both inhouse and bespoke creative and design projects for RGG clients.

Alastair joined OPP parent company, Property Finders International Ltd, as Group Managing Director in 2006 after returning from a stint in SE Asia . Holding an MBA from Warwick Business School he has extensive experience in direct marketing and marketing consultancy. He managed blue chip multi-national clients such as Dell, Diageo, Cathay Pacific, Peugeot, News Corp and BT whilst group account director of a well-known database marketing company and then, after a spell with McCann Relationship Marketing, he was appointed direct marketing director for Dell Asia and then marketing director for Southern Asia .

Ben’s working career started in real estate sales in Australia, at the time he was the youngest qualified agent in the country. A journalism graduate, Ben has previously worked on advertising campaigns for one of Australia’s largest insurers and came to OPP from his role as the Overseas Property and Finance Editor for a London-based publication. OPP’s News Editor, Ben is also responsible for OPP’s online news component .

Having edited mainly trade magazines for a variety of industries since 1997 – including corporate risk, electrical engineering & healthcare informatics – Alex has been focused on the UK and overseas property markets since 2003. In 2004, he launched two dedicated business to consumer titles for UK property investors – Property Investment and International Property Investor – and in September 2005 launched a new title for the specialist mortgage market. Alex sets the editorial strategy for content across OPP's print, online and conference platforms and is also the chair for the OPP Industry Awards for partnership. In the last year, his team has built an extensive database of international commentators and contributors to provide local insights on the world’s destination and buyer markets.

After 8 years in media sales, predominantly with EMAP, David’s introduction to the overseas property industry came when he joined Outbound Publishing as sales director responsible for World of Property and Emigrate magazines, newspapers and exhibitions. After 3 ½ successful years David joined PFI to run the sales operation for the OPP Live exhibition and conference launch in December 2005. He now runs the sales operation across the OPP portfolio, overseeing OPP Live’s expansion and developing its online and offline commercial opportunities.

Xavier cemented his reputation as one of the innovators in overseas property marketing media whilst overseeing the re-launch of the Homes Overseas magazine and exhibition brand in 1997. Whilst there he changed the face of the overseas property exhibition format by conceiving and launching the annual Viva Espaňa event in 2002 and was made a board director of parent company Blendon Communications. After being promoted to managing director of Newskys.co.uk he conducted a management buy out in 2003 to fully develop the platform. In September 2004 he launched the Overseas Property Professional as the industry's only trade print magazine and in 2005 launched the industry's only business to business exhibition and conference OPP Live. Having provided ad hoc marketing services to a number of clients from 2003-5, he established Richmond Green Marketing Ltd in January 2006 to offer a full service specialist overseas property marketing consultancy.
