The OPP Industry Awards were launched to promote transparency and partnership in the overseas property industry, and to create a platform for the best in the sector to prove why their business is world class.

This year’s categories recognise achievements in the following three main areas:

To ensure the OPP Industry Awards are completely transparent, all award entries are scored out of 100 points by the five most qualified judges from a select panel drawn from international real estate trade bodies, property journalists, and media analysts. The entry that scores highest out of 500 points wins and in the event of a tie, a joint award will be given. The chair will ensure there is no conflict of interest.

Everyone who enters the OPP Industry Awards will have their entry formatted for a dedicated Partnership Page on their web site, and will receive guidance and feedback from the Chair of the OPP Judging Panel on their entries.

Highest scoring entries will receive a promotional package of coverage to the entire OPP trade database of 80,000+ international trade professionals via the OPP e-newsletter and the electronic magazine. In addition, the nine top scoring entries in each category will be profiled individually in OPP magazine in 2010.
